Glamour was the watchword for all the stars who walked on the stairs of the Palais des Festivals in their exceptional outfits, starting with the botanical gown by Valentino Couture for actress Elle Fanning (one of the jurors of the event), who showed great style by alternating impeccable everyday looks like the one by Dior in homage to Grace Kelly or the wedding dress style of Reem Acra.

Stunning top models chose to wear vibrant colours, while actresses Deepika Padukone, Araya Argate, Sara Sampaio and Penelope Cruz indulged themselves in sculptural dresses with extra large volumes.

There were feathers, feathers, and more feathers by Miu Miu for Camila Morrone and Sara Forestier, by Rami Kadi for singer and fashion designer Jessica Jung, and by Ashi Studio for former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. There was a stunning strapless dress with purple feathers by Alberta Ferretti for Elsa Hosk.

Extremely elegant in black, Emily Beecham won the award for Best Actress for the film “Little Joe”, while Antonio Banderas won best actor for “Dolor y gloria”, a film by Pedro Almodovar. By his side, his girlfriend Nicole Kimpel wore a sexy chiffon dress from the Party Line Edit Collection 2020 by Pronovias. Extravagant, Dita Von Teese by Alexis Mabille Haute Couture.

One of the many trends was tuxedos for the ladies.
Yves Saint Laurent created it inspired by Marlene Dietrich in 1966, offering a new aesthetic look for women and here, Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent dressed Anja Rubik in a sexy shirtless tuxedo. Hanaa Issa (producer of the film ‘It Must Be Heaven’) in full black and Tilda Swinton in full white.

There was another micro-trend to highlight, bare bellies.
Enrapturing us was one of the most talented French actresses: Marion Cotillard with a black two-piece outfit by Chanel Haute Couture. Chiara Ferragni wore a silver crop top with Swarovski crystals, studded straps and two bows on the front, and a black silk skirt from Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini. Pure white for Selena Gomez and Neelam Gill.

And the red carpet continued to dazzle with the female lead of Belloccio’s “Il Traditori”, Maria Fernanda Cândido, in an embroidered sequin dress by Christian Dior. Maxi silver sequins for Isabelle Huppert (star of the film “Frankie”) in Giorgio Armani Privé, and different shades of red sequins outlining a paisley pattern for the piece by Etro worn by Brazilian actress Marina Rui Barbosa.

It was impossible to miss the bridal style worn by Spanish model Marta Lozano, Thai actress Min Pechaya, and the gorgeous face of Dior, Bella Hadid, who was wrapped in a cloud of transparent tulle.
