The jury of the fourth edition of the ELLE International Bridal Awards has presented the awards to the winning firms during last night’s ceremony which was broadcast on the Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week Digital Experience platform. The show, organised by Fira de Barcelona and international leader in bridal fashion, has launched this new format with the aim of supporting the industry at a particularly complex time, ratifying its role as host and collaborator of international events such as the EIBAs, as well as being a driving force for business and connections between the different agencies in this field, such as companies, professionals and the end customers on a global level.
The 12 awards presented at the ELLE International Bridal Awards 2020, organised by the ELLE magazine in collaboration with Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, were awarded yesterday during a gala ceremony which, for the first time ever, was broadcast online on the VBBFW App.
The jury was composed of eleven editors at ELLE from various countries: Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, Spain, Sweden, Russia and Turkey, as well as the Director of Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Estermaria Laruccia.
This year for the first time the competition has awarded two new prizes: The Best Sustainable Bridal Gown Brand and the Best Multi-brand Bridal Gown Boutique.

Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, international platform
Leader in its industry, VBBFW will continue showing the fashion shows displayed by a total of 24 bridal fashion firms and the offer of around 100 brands, 64% of which are international, on its new digital format through the VBBFW Digital Experience platform until Tuesday, 22 September. The broadcast of the fashion shows can be viewed through the VBBFW App, which allows brides-to-be and fashion lovers around the world to enjoy the latest trends and bridal collections. Moreover, the App space dedicated to the Trade Show will remain active until 18 October.
