Barcelona will again become the capital of bridal fashion with the 24th Barcelona Bridal Week, the event that encompasses the Gaudí Novias Catwalk and the International Noviaespaña Show, international benchmark of the Spanish textile sector that is successful worldwide. The Gaudí Novias Catwalk will start things off with the fashion shows of 22 firms that will show their collections for the 2015 season. This will be followed by the International Noviaespaña Show, which will be exhibiting the latest fashion for brides, parties and accessories.
Barcelona will again attract the attention of all international eyes interested in the latest from the “bridal” universe. The Gaudí Novias Catwalk, which will open the event, will feature practically all of the sector’s most important brands that will get on the catwalk to officially present the 2015 season collections to buyers and guests from the five continents.
From May 9th to 11th, Noviaespaña will bring together over 200 brands, 50% of them international, which will present the latest in fashion for brides, ceremonies, communion and accessories. They will occupy some 30,000 square metres in pavilion 2, in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via Exhibition Centre.
The next edition of Barcelona Bridal Week will be the first in its history organised directly by Fira de Barcelona that, according to the event’s director, Miquel Serrano, “will boost its internationalism in order to contribute to the overall success of the sector, one of the strongest in the Spanish economy. After 23 years of success at the hands of Flaqué Internacional, we are taking the reins and will continue to work in order to give more visibility to a sector with great export potential and that contributes to the exposure of Spanish fashion and the Barcelona brand worldwide”.
