A total of 850 wedding gowns, groom’s suits and outfits for the ceremony will be presented

33 designers will unveil their 2024 collections on the catwalk at the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

The catwalk at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) will become a pole of attraction for bridal fashion worldwide between the 19 and 22 of April, when it will host the fashion catwalks of 33 leading design houses and the launch of 9 brands. The unique format of the Barcelona event, which encompasses fashion catwalks and a trade fair, together with its range of products and its commitment to innovation and sustainability, confirm that once again this year it is the best showcase to display the upcoming fashion trends.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Department of Enterprise and Work of the Government of Catalonia, the BBFW catwalk will be the main setting for the new designs of 33 fashion houses, that will present a total of 850 wedding gowns, suits for grooms and outfits for the ceremony in their 2024 collections to buyers from this country and abroad, companies operating in the industry and media professionals from around the world.

Among the top Spanish houses that have confirmed their presence this year are Jesús Peiró; Rosa Clarà; Atelier Pronovias; Nicole Milano; Isabel Sanchis; Sophie et Voilà; Yolancris; Marco & María; and Ramón Sanjurjo. Also participating for the first time will be design firms from the Canary Islands: Ogadenia Couture, Pedro Palmas and Lucas Balboa.

New brands on display this year at BBFW will be Lorena Formoso, from Galicia; Joli Poli, from Vietnam; Wona Concept & Eva Lendel from Ukraine; Madeline, from the US and the Canadian Ines Di Santo.

Major international designers have once again chosen the Barcelona event as a launchpad for their creations, such as Cymbeline, from France; the Polish designer Agnieszka Swiatly; Marylise & Rembo Styling and Carta Branca, both from Belgium; The Atelier Couture by Prof. Jimmy Choo, from Malaysia; Julia Kontogruni, from Bulgaria; Demetrios, from Italy; Carlo Pignatelli, also from Italy; Modeca, from the Netherlands, and Katy Corso, from Ukraine.

The Spanish designers Andrea Lalanza and Mireia Balaguer, the Italians Poesie Sposa and More, and the Italian-German Riccardo Serravalle will feature in the fashion catwalk of young talents.

Meanwhile, as it does every year, Barcelona Bridal Night will host the catwalk of a world-renowned haute couture fashion house. The name, date and venue of the show’s gala night will be announced soon.

All the firms that will be on show between the 19 and 22 of April on the catwalk will also be taking part in the BBFW trade fair, which will open its doors from the 21 to 23 of April with on offer, 75% of them from 30 countries.

IMPORTANT: With the press pass, the holder can access all the scheduled catwalks at BBFW except those of Atelier Pronovias, Rosa Clará, Ines di Santo and the featured designer of Barcelona Bridal Night, for which a direct invitation from one of the designers will be required.
