FASHION SHOWS: 19-22 APRIL 2023 / TRADE SHOW: 21-23 APRIL 2023 - BARCELONA

Millenary Beauty

Among the many themes explored during the last edition of the VBBFW fashion shows, one is particularly close to our heart: Nature!

An unlimited source of inspiration for all art forms, nature is very closely connected to fashion, not only as a fountainhead of creativity but also as provider of materials!

The linen used by the designers of Poesia Spose and the natural fabrics that are always present in the collections of Inmaculada Garcia, as well as many other designers, help spreading the word of eco-friendly fashion!

Big names in the fashion world like Stella McCartney, Donatella Versace and Alessandro Michele for Gucci have been fighting for years to protect our planet. And creating awareness that even in this high-tech era, we can still see the millenary beauty of nature!

From the wild landscapes that inspired Morilee’s collection, with lines as soft as sand dunes, to the handmade flowers by Julia Kontogruni or the calla lilies that inspired Jesus Peiro for a collection with elegant, sober lines!

From the vegetal shapes and 3D flowers seen on the fashion show of Sedomir Rodriguez de la Sierra and Mireia Balaguer, to the starry skies of Pronovias and the amazing creations of Isabel Sanchis with butterfly silhouettes, a symbol of transformation and freedom!

The fragile and wonderful complexity of the wings reminds us that nature must be protected because, however powerful in its greatness, it is delicate and fleeting!
