Holiday season gowns

Holidays are upon us and with them come dinners, parties, Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, so it is time to think about the coolest fashion trends for this 19/20 fall-winter season.

Velvet
Soft, enveloping, and sumptuous to the eye. Lighter in weight and volume, it adapts well to tight silhouettes, flowing or bias cuts.
In addition to the rigorous black, warm colours such as antique pink and burgundy, or vigorous ones such as violet and midnight blue stand out.

Tuxedo
For those who won’t give up on trousers, the suit with a double-breasted jacket and satin lapels is a classic; Ralph Lauren’s flagship (who presented in different colours).

Quilted!
Is the new feature of the season, ideal for the cold. No longer only in coat version, but also in long vests, skirts and dresses.

Dark
The black dress is a must in every woman’s closet. This year it is a long, close-fitting “Morticia Adams” look. With a turtle neck or with deep necklines even on the back for some shock effect.

Matching coats
In matching colours or fabrics, they give the outfit a very sophisticated effect.

Teal
Mixing turquoise and oil colours, this splendid shade of green and blue was born at the end of the 1950s. Its chromatic character and its cold, intense tones lead make it one of the most interesting shades of this season.
